We’re excited to share that the GKU D600 Pro Max has been selected to take part in Backfire News’ upcoming three-week 4K dash cam test.
For this real-world comparison, Backfire News will test three dash cam systems:
Each dash cam will be installed and used for a full week before receiving its own dedicated review. Once all three individual tests are complete, Backfire News will compare their performance across a wide range of everyday driving scenarios.
More Than a Comparison of Specifications
Instead of relying only on advertised specifications, the test will examine how each dash cam performs in real-world use.
The evaluation will cover important areas such as installation, daytime and nighttime video quality, license plate visibility, exposure under bright sunlight and headlight glare, app connectivity, Wi-Fi file transfers, parking surveillance, memory card management and everyday reliability.
The reviewers will also consider how easy it is to find, download and share important footage—because a dash cam is only truly useful when drivers can quickly access the evidence they need.
What the GKU D600 Pro Max Brings to the Test
The GKU D600 Pro Max combines 4K front recording with a 1080P rear camera. It features a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 image sensor, WDR technology and Super Night Vision to support clearer recording in challenging lighting conditions.
It also offers dual-band Wi-Fi 6, built-in GPS, voice control, a 2.99-inch display, support for memory cards up to 512GB and three parking surveillance modes when used with a compatible hardwire kit.
