How are winners selected?
Winners are selected based on content quality, originality, relevance to #CaughtOnGKU, authentic engagement, and organic reach. Higher views and authentic engagement may improve your chances of winning, but they do not determine the winner alone. Artificially boosted views, likes, comments, followers, or paid engagement may result in disqualification.
When will the winners be announced?
Winners are selected at the end of each month during the campaign. GKU will contact selected winners through the contact information or social account associated with their entry.
Do I have to use a GKU dash cam?
No. The #CaughtOnGKU Social Challenge welcomes original footage recorded with any dash cam brand.
Which platforms can I use?
You may post on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, or X. Use #CaughtOnGKU and tag the official GKU account for that platform.
What kind of footage can I enter?
Original close calls, road incidents, night driving, weather, unexpected moments, scenic drives, and other compelling road moments are welcome.
Can the same video be entered more than once?
Submit each original road moment once. Reposted, copied, or misleading entries may be excluded from judging.

FAQ
Do I have to use a GKU dash cam?
Yes. Activity 02 footage must be recorded with the eligible GKU dash cam connected to your refund claim.
What video quality is required?
1080P or higher is recommended. Clear SD-card original files are preferred whenever possible.
Is the GKU watermark required?
Yes. Include an exported copy showing the GKU watermark. TikTok, Instagram, or other platform watermarks are not accepted.
Can I submit more than one video?
Yes. The three videos counted toward the refund must feature three different valid events or scenes.
How will I know if my footage has been selected?
GKU may reply to your post or contact you through your tagged social account. However, footage counts as officially selected only after confirmation from an official GKU email.
Where will selected footage be featured?
Selected footage may be shared across GKU’s official social media channels and featured in a future footage gallery on the GKU website.
How should I send large files?
Upload large files to Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or WeTransfer, enable download access, and email the shareable link to GKU.
When will I receive my dash cam refund?
Once three different eligible videos have been officially selected and used by GKU, we will confirm your refund eligibility and begin processing the refund. One refund is available per person and device; gifted products and review samples are not eligible.
