The 1.47-inch screen provides a clear view of the dashcam's status. The front dashcam has a sleek design with a Type-C interface, measuring 3.5x1.8x1.4 inches, ensuring it doesn’t obstruct your view. It features a detachable design and a 120° adjustable function for easy installation and removal. The rear camera is fully adjustable up to 360 degrees, allowing flexible placement anywhere in the car.
What's in the box
I purchased this dashcam a few weeks ago. I went for the D600 pro, because this seemed to be the best dashcam in my price range.
I want to start by saying that I am very happy with the dashcam. The video quality of the front camera is good during the day. I’m also very happy with the freedom regarding the settings of the dashcam. I get to choose whether the video will show while driving, the intensity of the locked-video-feature, etc. The dashcam is very easy to install with the hardwire kit. The hardwire kit was delivered with a qr-code, which gives a YouTube tutorial for installing the hardwire kit. This was very helpful.
Something to keep in mind buying and installing this dashcam is that the wires are connected to the right side of the dashcam. I wanted to install the dashcam behind my rearview mirror, on the right side of the car. This made it a bit more difficult to install the dashcam without exposing too much wires.
The rearview camera’s quality is quite a bit lower than the main camera. Especially in the dark, it is difficult to read a license plate. This is less of a problem if the car is close. In case of a collision, this won’t be a problem.
Something I find difficult to get used to is the app-connection. The dashcam has it’s own Wi-Fi network. You have to connect your phone to the Wi-Fi network in order to access the dashcam. I would have preferred that the dashcam connects to a Wi-Fi network.
Lastly, I did have a problem with the dashcam enabling parking mode. I contacted the helpdesk and the help was great. The helpdesk send me an extra hardwire kit to solve this problem and provided me with clear instructions.
Overall, if you have extra money to spend, I suggest looking at a newer model, so that the quality of the rear camera is better. I am however satisfied with the product and the costumer service.
I bought this model hoping for a good quality dash cam that would record the front and back of the car while I drove, giving me peace of mind about keeping a record of what happens on the road. It was generally easy to set up and the video quality is very good. The only problem I have found is when sending a downloaded video to someone via a messaging app (e.g: WhatsApp), the video quality is reduced, and the sound is not accurate. Happy to provide an example if requested. But other than this, it works well. I am pleased with my purchase.
After receiving the camera in record time (3 days), I installed it in my Toyota RAV4 in less than an hour.
Setup is very easy from the app, as is downloading recorded videos.
In short, a highly recommended dashcam.
I've only had the Dashcam a few weeks to a month but initial impressions are great. It looks good, easy to follow instructions for installation and image quality of both front and back camera is great.
I experienced some issues connecting to the Dashcam with my phone to view footage and set up but this was remedied by looking at the FAQ section and following the instructions to allow the app all necessary permissions. I also had to turn my VPN off to access the camera via the App.
I liked the included tools in the box as well as the clear sheet of plastic to stick to your window for both cameras. Would definitely recommend!
