The dash cam does not include a memory card in the package. Please use a high-endurance microSD card rated U3/V30 or above, with a capacity of 64GB to 512GB. For best stability, format the card in the GKU GO app before first use.

Is the hardwire kit included? Do I need it for 24-hour parking monitoring?

Hardwire kit is not included. it is required for 24-hour parking monitoring or time-apse parking mode and must be purchased separately. We recommend the GKU hardwire kit for compatibility.

Why won’t my phone connect to the dash cam WiFi?

Please install the GKU GO app, enable location/WLAN/cellular permissions, and connect to GKU-D600 Pro Max_XXXX using password 12345678. If it doesn’t connect, please turn off VPN, CarPlay/Android Auto, and nearby auto-connecting WiFi networks.

Does this car dash cam have GPS tracking?

Yes. The dash cam records GPS route, speed, and location data while driving. Videos can be viewed in the GKU GO app, while detailed GPS map playback is available through the PC/Mac GPS player.

Why can’t I view videos remotely when I’m away from the car?

This dash cam has built in Wifi for local connection only and does not support dloud viewing, celular data, r remote live view. You can view, download, andmanage videos in the app only within about 3-5 meters.

Why does my phone say “No Internet Connection” after connecting to the dash cam WiFi?

This is normal. The dash cam creates a local WiFi connection for app communication and video transfer, not for internet access. Your phone may temporarily disconnect from mobile internet while connected to the dash cam WiFi.

Does this dash cam support parking mode?

Yes, this car dash cam supports 24/7 parking monitoring.With a hardwire kit (not included), the dashcam can record even when your vehicle is parked, providing extra security.

Why is my dashcam not recording properly?

This is usually caused by an incompatible or slow SD card.For a high-resolution dash cam, always use a U3 card and format it in the device.

Should I use 2.4GHz or 5.8GHz WiFi?

To ensure compatibility with all smartphones, the dash cam uses 2.4GHz WiFi by default. 2.4GHz WiFi offers wider coverage but slower transfer speed. 5.8GHz WiFi provides faster download speed and is recommended for most users. You can switch the WiFi band manually in the app settings. Please note: not all smartphones support 5.8GHz WiFi. If your phone does not support 5.8GHz WiFi or the connection is unstable, please use 2.4GHz WiFi.

Why is the video in the app not as sharp as the actual recording?

The app preview is compressed for smoother transmission. For the best image quality, download the video to your phone first or view the original file from the memory card on a computer. The actual video resolution is higher than the live preview.

Why doesn’t the G-Sensor trigger when I tap the car by hand?

The G-Sensor is designed to detect real collision forces or strong vibrations while driving or parked. Hand tapping is often not strong enough. You can adjust the G-Sensor sensitivity in the app settings if needed.
