3. What Does the GKU Warranty Cover?

The GKU manufacturer's warranty covers confirmed defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal installation and use within the applicable warranty period.

Examples of potentially covered issues may include:

  • Manufacturing defects confirmed by GKU Support
  • Hardware failures occurring under normal use
  • Product malfunctions caused by eligible manufacturing or material defects
  • Other defects determined by GKU Support to be covered under the applicable manufacturer warranty

Warranty eligibility is determined after GKU Support reviews the order information, product condition, supporting evidence, troubleshooting results, and other relevant information.

4. What Is Not Covered?

The GKU manufacturer's warranty does not cover damage, failure, or performance issues caused by circumstances unrelated to an eligible manufacturing defect.

Examples include:

  • Improper installation or incorrect use
  • Misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Accidents, drops, collisions, or impact damage
  • Liquid or water damage
  • Unauthorized modification, disassembly, or repair
  • Intentional damage
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic deterioration that does not affect normal product function
  • Damage caused by incompatible accessories, power supplies, cables, memory cards, or external equipment
  • Damage caused by improper voltage or electrical conditions
  • Damage caused by failure to follow product instructions
  • Lost or stolen products
  • Products with removed, altered, or unreadable identification information where identification is required for warranty verification
  • Products without valid proof of purchase where proof of purchase is required to verify warranty eligibility
  • Products purchased through unauthorized channels where manufacturer warranty coverage cannot be verified

These exclusions apply to the GKU manufacturer's warranty to the extent permitted by applicable law and do not exclude or limit statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

5. Proof of Purchase

Valid proof of purchase may be required to confirm warranty eligibility and determine the applicable warranty period.

Acceptable proof of purchase may include:

  • GKU Official Store order confirmation
  • Amazon or other authorized marketplace order information
  • Receipt or invoice from an authorized GKU retailer
  • Other documentation accepted by GKU Support

Your proof of purchase should clearly identify the purchase date, product, and seller where possible.

If you cannot locate your order number, contact GKU Support and provide as much information as possible, including:

  • Purchaser name
  • Email address used for the order
  • Purchase platform
  • Approximate purchase date
  • Product model

Our team will try to assist in locating or verifying your purchase, but valid proof of purchase may still be required for warranty service.

7. Returns and Warranty Claims Are Different

The GKU Return & Refund Policy and Manufacturer's Warranty Policy are separate policies.

Within the Return Period

If you are requesting a return or refund within the applicable return period after delivery, please review the GKU Return & Refund Policy.

After the Return Period

If the applicable return period has ended but your product is still within its manufacturer warranty period, contact GKU Support for warranty assistance.

A product issue occurring after the return period does not automatically qualify for a refund. The issue will be handled according to the applicable warranty terms and technical assessment.

8. Do Not Return Products Without Authorization

Please do not send a product back to GKU without first contacting GKU Support.

If a return, repair, or replacement is required, our support team will provide the appropriate instructions and, where applicable, the designated return address.

Products sent without prior authorization may be delayed or may not be correctly identified and processed.

9. Replacement Products and Parts

If GKU determines that a replacement product or replacement part is appropriate under the warranty, the replacement may be new or functionally equivalent, subject to product availability and applicable law.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, receiving a replacement product or part does not restart or extend the original warranty period.

The replacement product or part will remain covered for the remainder of the applicable original warranty period.

10. Warranty Service Availability

GKU provides manufacturer warranty service for eligible products purchased through the GKU Official Store or authorized GKU sales channels in regions where GKU officially sells and supports its products.

Warranty service is subject to:

  • Applicable warranty period
  • Product eligibility
  • Valid proof of purchase
  • Purchase channel
  • Purchase region
  • Product condition
  • Technical assessment
  • Terms and exclusions in this Warranty Policy

The specific method of warranty service may vary depending on the country or region.

If you are unsure whether your product, purchase channel, or region is eligible for GKU manufacturer warranty service, please contact GKU Support before submitting a claim.

11. International Warranty Service

Warranty service availability may vary by country or region.

Products purchased in one country or region may not always be eligible for the same service method in another country or region because of differences in product availability, logistics, local service capabilities, and applicable regulations.

GKU Support will review international warranty requests individually and provide an appropriate solution where warranty service is available.

Customers should contact GKU Support before sending products internationally for warranty service.

12. Consumer Rights & Applicable Law

The GKU manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to any statutory consumer rights and remedies available under applicable law.

Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, waive, or limit any consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

This Warranty Policy and GKU's manufacturer warranty are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Hong Kong SAR), except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Customers purchasing GKU products outside Hong Kong SAR may also be entitled to mandatory consumer protections under the laws applicable to their country or region.

Where mandatory local consumer protection laws provide rights or remedies that differ from or exceed the GKU manufacturer warranty described here, those mandatory legal requirements will apply to the extent required by law.

The GKU manufacturer warranty does not replace any statutory warranty, guarantee, conformity right, or other mandatory consumer protection applicable to your purchase.
